These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

 

Referral Service: 

South City Maids acts as a referral agency that connects clients with vetted professional cleaners. We do not directly employ the cleaners sent to you. All cleaners are independent contractors that undergo interviews to identify experience, work skill and availability. All cleaners are required to undergo a background check. 

 

Eligibility 

By using our Website and Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

 

Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times.

Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account and our Services.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password,

whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

 

Opt in for SMS 

When receiving SMS messages from South City Maids Msg & data rates may apply. For help, contact support@southcitymaids.com.

When receiving incoming messages, you may opt out by replying “Stop”.

 

Cleaning Agents and Equipment:
Cleaners shall provide all necessary cleaning agents and supplies. Clients may request special cleaning products, which Clients’s must provide at their expense. Please note that, for health and safety reasons, We reserve the right to decline the use of specific products requested by the client.

 

Cleaners cannot be held accountable for any damage to the Client’s property that may occur while using the Client’s cleaning agents or equipment.

If your home has excessive dirt and dust that requires more than 3 applications of cleaning solution and materials, you will be charged a heavy duty fee.

 

Cancellation Policy:

To book our Services, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your name, contact information, and payment details. You may book our Services through our online booking system or by contacting us directly. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked cleaning appointment, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide 24 hour notice will result in a 50% cancellation fee of the scheduled service. It is Client’s responsibility to ensure access to the property at the scheduled time. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if our service provider is unable to access the property, or is turned away at the door.   

 

Privacy and Security:

Cleaners prioritize the privacy and security of our Clients. Cleaners will keep doors locked while cleaning and will not answer doors unless clearly instructed to do so in advance and in writing by the Client. Client is responsible to notify Us and the cleaners in writing of any areas in the property which are not to be accessed or cleaned.

 

Safe Entry:
The Client agrees to provide Cleaners with safe and unobstructed access to the premises for cleaning services. If Cleaners deem it unsafe to access the premises, including but not limited to the presence of aggressive pets, the cleaning service may be canceled, and rescheduling may not be possible.

 

Safety Policy:

For insurance liability and safety compliance, we require Clients to secure and limit access to firearms, jewelry, medications, and private adult items before our cleaning services. 

 

Safety Procedures:
To prevent injury, cleaners are prohibited from lifting or moving heavy items during  the cleaning process. Cleaners shall not clean up human or pet waste, blood, or bodily fluids. For safety reasons, cleaners shall not attempt to restrain or move aggressive dogs.

 

Service Guarantee:

South City maids strives for excellence in our services. In the event that the Client is not satisfied with the quality of the cleaning, we kindly request that you contact us within 24 hours of the service. We will promptly address and strive to resolve any issues to ensure your satisfaction. We reserve the right to update your service to the correct service should you choose the incorrect service for your needs.

 

Payments:

Clients must provide South City Maids with a valid credit card to keep on file for billing when the service is scheduled. Client is responsible for and agrees to pay South City Maids for the full cost of the completed services. Payments for our Services must be made via the payment methods we accept, as indicated on our Website. All fees and charges are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Terms.

 

Claims and Refund Policy:

Any claims for damage or issues related to the cleaning service must be reported to South City Maids within 24 hours of the service. The provision of additional services, refunds or compensation will be the exclusive remedy available to Client, and shall be determined on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of South City Maids.

 

Attorney’s Fees: 

Client agrees to pay all reasonable costs, including, but not limited to, attorney’s fees incurred by South City Maids to collect any fees owed for services provided and to enforce any other provisions in this Agreement.

 

Governing Law/Jurisdiction: 

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The State of Georgia. Any action or proceeding commenced regarding this Agreement or the subjects herein shall be brought in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service,

and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

 

Non-Solicitation Policy:
South City Maids has a non-solicitation policy.  By hiring our services, the Client agrees not to solicit, hire, or employ directly or indirectly any member of the South City Maid’s cleaning team for a period of one year after the last service provided by  South City Maids.

Non-compliance with this policy will result in a referral fee of $750.

 

Photography Consent:
The Client agrees that South City Maid’s cleaners may take photographs of the property before and after cleaning for insurance and marketing purposes. Any photographs taken will not include any personally identifiable information unless explicitly agreed upon by the Client.

 

Links To Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by South City Maids. South City Maids has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that South City Maids shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. 

 

Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance. We shall not be liable, and Client agrees to indemnify Us  from and against any claims, losses, costs, fees, liabilities, damages, or other injuries that arise as a result of the Service Provider’s actions or performance, or from unsafe conditions on the property and the actions or inactions of Client.

 

Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Website or Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
